A rare and but welcome visitor to our garden. It has taken till now, the 2nd day of October to make its visit. It is our first Comma of this season, a season that is quickly coming to an end.
Very welcome… Butterflies have been very rare this year. I know some places have recorded higher counts than is normal, not in our garden. True we have had good numbers of white, the more colourful specimens are obviously finding more fun elsewhere. 🙂
Friday… maybe I can do some more Butterfly watching over the weekend…
Whatever you have planned, enjoy…. and as always…

And it’s even worse when you can see them but you can’t reach them. 🦋

We do love seeing butterflies flitting around our flower gardens. Glad you spied that one!

Been a very strange year for plants, birds and butterflies…the exception has been Bees, a bumper season.

Well, at least you have lots of bees. We haven’t seen many honey bees at our house for quite some time.
