Way past the Autumnal Equinox and yet still everything is still very green…but just occasionally we get a hint of those autumnal colours to come.
For some autumn is a real treat, for others a warning that the cold of winter is on the way, may not be looked forward to…. as they say, each to his own… but as always

We are still enjoying days that are summer like but today a change regular heavy rain showers and a big temperature drop. …but it is October so not bad xx

Color is just beginning to arrive on our trees but we had a deluge of rain and wind which has already knocked some leaves down. I don’t think it’s going to be a lovely autumn for us this year. 😦

Same story here…the summer heatwaves and drought stressed many trees and dry paper thin leaves dropping…so maybe no mass autumn colour this year…though we do have rain today…we needed it but folk soon complain.
