Saint Melangell’s Church
In a long and remote Welsh valley in the Berwyn Mountains, can be found St. Melangell’s Church. Founded in the 7th century, modified in the 12th and 15th centuries it has, with loving care, stood the test of time and weather.
It also shelters the Shrine to St. Melangell. This 12th century shrine has suffered over the intervening years and has needed regular restorations. Still an important Pilgrimage destination for many.
