2nd November and most of our trees are still green. Even the venerable Furlong Meadow Oak sports lots of green leaves. Not sure how old this Oak is, some estimated 300 years old, maps indicate much older. No matter, its has weathered many a storm and severe frosts and rains. Many limbs lost over the years but the main skeleton still seems tough enough to survive at least another 100 years.
Down by the lake, all ways peaceful, a little change beginning on some trees but overall, for November 2nd … not a half bad autumn day 🍂😊

Two days into November. Halloween past (thank goodness)…. Black Friday ahead then Christmas and all the pre seasonal hype to come. The year has seemed so short this year.
Enjoy whatever the week and month have instore for you… and as always….
Please Remember ….
