Flippant Friday….. well maybe not so flippant.

Time to Write those Christmas Cards

I do know we live in a digital world of instant and varied communications, but for many folk, including myself, the Tradition of sending the Christmas Card is still a priority for Christmas.

We find that it is the real start of Christmas, communicating with not just close family but also friends gained over the years…. many who live a distance away.

This year in the UK, with Postal Strikes at intermittent intervals, it will be best to get the task completed ‘sooner than later’….. so best not to be flippant about getting the task completed and the Cards in the Post.

Apart from continuing the century old tradition of sending Christmas Cards, I also love to receive them…..  the simple messages, added from those we have been unable to see, are great to read… often generating some forgotten memories and a smile., may be even the odd tear.

The end of another week that reminds us that time moves along at a pace….. but as always….

Please Remember ….

Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other
