Hanging On…..!
It has indeed been a strange year for seasonal weather, everything seems to have drifted, and at times, merged together. Yesterdays gales, by rights, should have stripped the trees of all their leaves but not in this part of the woods. It is a sycamore stand and rather exposed to the weather but at first glance you could mistake this image as one from the spring. It is only on taking a closer look that you see the leaves are yellow and not spring green. I would in a normal year suggest that the sycamore was one to drop the leaves early but not this year.

The leaves are slow to depart here, too, despite recent high winds…..

Frost promised this weekend so that will probably drop the remaining leaves…well that is the theory 🙂

Strange it is – and it is our, the human race’s, doing. Heavy frost arrived two days ago – not many leaves left now.

As long as world leaders listen too much tot the corporations, things will goe too slow to put a brake on global warming. I believe we passed the solving bit. I don’t think we can still solve it. And it’s the poor people in our world that suffer the most. Again.
