Moody Monday….. Spring will win the Battle – Soon !

There is a bit of a battle taking place in our countryside.  After an early start to Spring the recent cold snap has brought, if not a stop to new Spring growth, at least a slow down, a pause!

Trees have leaf buds doing there best to burst in to new growth, everyday they have swollen a little more. Whilst some are being brave others are biding there time.

Cannot be long before this woodland floor is all dark and moody under a thick canopy of leaf…. at the moment the sun is warming the ground below.
