A very foggy morning (well really low flying cloud!) …. nor did it hold out much hope of any sunshine breaking through. But patience is rewarded and by lunch time that elusive sun comes out with a flourish…. it also highlights the early autumn colour.
I have a feeling that all we need is one very cold frosty morning and we will loose all the leaves before they have the chance to show us the autumn colours we all love. Yep, it is still a very green woodland…

We are finally getting some color here too but the leaves are also falling fast.

We know have a damp fog….not a good sign, so I guess we may well have an autumnal ‘fall’ with little more colour to come.
