Sundown in the Derwent Valley, Derbyshire
This Mornings walk was uninspiringly damp and grey. As I wanted to finish Becky’s #WalkingSquares, which reaches its conclusion today, on a bright note – I had to raid the archive.
Autumn a couple of years ago, enjoying a long walk round the Upper Derwent Valley. As dusk fell, the sun sank behind the tall Larch, adding their own glow to a November afternoon. Magic and the perfect autumnal end to the walk.
So, there we have it, what I hope is an appropriate image for Becky’s #WalkingSquares.
Thank you Becky, for setting the task…. it was fun.
So, it’s goodbye to November and hello to December….. gosh a year nearly over.
