After a run of rather mixed weather, bad at times, wet mostly and just the occasional flash of blue sky, it has been a surprise and has seemed rather special to be able to enjoy two rather fabulous sunny days.
The mornings have been slow to start but then the cloud clears and the sun pop’s up. At this time of the year it is never very high but still manages a warming glow. This all makes for some long shadows and lots of contrast from the competing autumnal colours that still linger in our woods….. add that rich woodland smell from the decaying leaves warmed by the unseasonal warm temperatures and it all makes a walk perfect..
Forecaster predict one more good day before a turn for the worst….
We wait to see 🙂
