White Edge Moor, Longshaw, Hathersage, Derbyshire
Open moors on a sunny March day is perhaps one of the most invigorating of places to be. Now I am not an unsociable sort of person…. but that open space with not a soul insight is rather a special feeling, you “own” that space and view…. add that other feeling of being able to breath in air that smells and feel so fresh, its the most perfect of natures tonics.
It is though rather ironic. After the wettest and warmest Winter we have officially moved into Spring yesterday. Lots of sunshine and blue skies and that was most welcome. But it also brought I ice cold wind straight from the North Pole and last night was the coldest of the year , even a little frost this morning. Yep, strange old world in so many ways.
and please remember ..

Looks like a great place for self-isolation!

The lone building is certainly isolated and I have often thought that it would be a great place for say a writer or artist working on a project. It is now a holiday let though zi have yet to witness any visitors. A lovely location 😊👍
