A mixed day, mainly grey and overcast. Then an occasional quick burst of sunshine quickly seeking out the autumn colours. I know we always say that the sun makes all the difference to a day….. it does. On a grey day these quick flashes seem to make those colours glow extra bright.
Then, for a very short period of time, those clouds would open up to reveal more blue, suggesting that the day was going to wake up….. wake up to a create a different day…
That was not to be. The blue vanished and left more grey skies. As the forecast for tomorrow is for heavy rains, we must be grateful for today’s taste of sunshine…however brief that was…
Some say, positive thinking can make all the difference…. but somehow I don’t think it will influence the weather gods.
No matter the weather…..
