More grey skies, some more rain and just a little sunshine. That sunshine tries hard to reach into the woods but failed, thankfully the golden leaves added a warmer glow.
As the end of October approaches, I suppose we cannot complain too much. But as those leaves are now falling at a greater pace, one does feel rather sad that autumn is nearly over. It would be nice to finish the month on a sunny note, I fear that the forward forecast tells another story..we wait to see

My favourite little stand of trees….they were once planted (long ago) as a hedge. The reason they are bent is that they were cut and bent to form a hedge…its called layering. However the owners of the wood gave up so the trees have just gone back to trying to do what they would do normally. 🙂

Even fall “falling” into decline is still beautiful. Lots of rain here is bringing our leaves down quickly.
