Goodbye October… at least after another morning of monsoon like rains, the afternoon turned out rather bright. Some blue skies and sunshine to finish the day and bring out a smile on folks faces. Despite that last burst of sunshine, I don’t think many of us will be sorry to see October vanish into the ether.
As we appear to be heading into another Lockdown, I guess those smiles will not be there for long.

It has been a mixed month is so many ways. Sunshine, gales , rains….with all the uncertainty and restrictions of CV19. I don’t think we are going to get the usual full blooded colour of autumn. t=There are hot spots in the various woods and parks I can visit, but no autumn colour over the whole woodland canopy. Add to that the gales, heavy rains and many trees have had their leaves stripped. We will see how November responds….. my money is on a bad winter..

I’m so sorry to hear your country is heading for yet another lockdown. Stay safe. On another note, as the calendar turned to November here, winter weather tried making an arrival. Cold and very windy rain arrived yesterday (Nov 1) and today (Nov 2), we had a light dusting of snow. Definitely goodbye to October!

November starting as October finished…mixed unpredictable weather. Just hope we have some good spells of weather so we can take advantage of our restricted movements during lockdown. 😃
