Frost and Fog welcomed in this November Saturday. The Fog turned to Mist that lingered for most of the day, a Mist giving a different flavour to Autumn…

The forecaster did suggest that we would enjoy some sunny intervals.  They were right, but may be bright spells would have been more accurate.  Not complaining as I guess for November it was rather a grand day to be able to be out and about.  Our Local Park was the destination, a Park that is for ever changing, different each season and each day… Today we  started by the Lake then headed up to more open ground…

The mature Oak, are as usual, hanging onto their leafy canopy for awhile longer, a contrast in colour to the Birch.

Fungi, in the shape and colour of Fly Agaric, are still fighting the frosts.  The animals that nibble them, and in this case, big two legged folk who seem to take great pleasure in kicking them about…  still they come back year after year despite the abuse

All in all not a bad Saturday walk.  That sun still tried its best to kill off the mist….but for the most part failed.
