If this was Rudolph, you could say he was keeping a very big Social Distance from his stable mates in the North Pole. Whilst it is cold here today, it is obviously not that cold, he still doesn’t have his Red nose.
OK, don’t shout….. I know this is a Deer and not a Reindeer, but I thought it was a bit of fun to stumble across this in our village this morning.
Still far too early for Christmas decorations for my liking….. but each to his own.

Far too early for Christmas decorations, I agree……

Fun, yes. Not ready to do Christmas decorations yet. Here in the USA, we celebrate Thanksgiving first even though far too many folks seem to go straight from Halloween to Christmas without pausing to give thanks. In my household, we don’t begin to prepare for Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving, which this year is November 27.

This side of the Atlantic Thanksgiving isnt an event. We start Advent which depending on the tradition you believe starts on December 1st. Now a days its more of a Christmas Countdown. Though by tradition we do have Stir Up Sunday (this year the 22nd November) before Advent

Yes, Thanksgiving is an American holiday and I believe Canada celebrates a Thanksgiving as well. Enlighten me on what Stir Up Sunday is please. That’s one I don’t know anything about. 🙂
