Church Walk was rather spooky this morning, dark and a constant drip of dew from the branches, ghostly shapes appearing through the mist (well fog really), as we silently crept past the graveyard. Much as I would have liked to have remained warm at home, Buster insisted we head off for our allotted time span of lockdown exercise….. I suppose he was right to insist.
The only real ghosts were the skeletons of trees and the Water Bailiff appearing through the mists on the Lake….
Just hoping the weather improves…..days like today, do little to lift the spirits during lockdown. Best not to complain, at least we have somewhere to walk in safety…

A Spot of what they call ‘liquid sunshine’, I believe?
Very good for trees, plants, and flowers! Please enjoy! 🙂

Difficult it is – but we are enjoying almost a week of sunny and cold winter days. So grateful – soon the wet and damp will return. Monday I believe.

Not sure I wanted to hear that 🙂 The wet, dark, grey days continue. There was some snow overnight but this morning all washed away. We are keeping an eye on the river that has been running high and fast.
