It was definitely a day of two halves. The morning was damp and dark. Then in the afternoon the sun broke through. The grey clouds parted to reveal the blue sky that has been hiding from us for days now….. Yep, it is still up there!
It was also warm enough to take a moment or two and bask in the suns warmth, the Furlong Oak as always a favourite place to pause…
The woodlands still retain a hint of the autumn as a reminder that spring has yet to make its mark.
As the sun went to bed, the Lake became calm and mirror like, perhaps thats a good weather sign…. who knows
Just a hint of a warm glow in the sky as the sun vanished below the horizon
Not a bad end to the day….. a day where the daylight hours have certainly started to extend. Won’t be long before we have the clock change to summer time. We do though still need to enjoy some signs of Spring..
Please Remember to ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

The lake photos are so very peaceful. So much so that I sighed 😌

For a day that had a rather un-hopeful start, it was a rather tranquil finish. Glad you enjoyed the images. 🙂

This is certainly good news! Usually you get to enjoy spring a couple of weeks ahead of me!
And perhaps this could be the first sign of normality this year? 🙂 Hoping . . .
