Neist Point Lighthouse, Isle of Skye, Scotland
Neist Point on the rugged north west coast of Skye. A vulnerable and exposed location, open to all the vagaries of the weather. There is a saying in Scotland that, if you are not happy with the weather – wait 10 minutes and you will be in another season.
Standing on this headland I have experienced that saying first hand. Often you can stand and watch the weather roll in from across the Atlantic enveloping us, sometimes it just seems to divert and head towards the north or south. On other occasions a complete change occurs as if in a blink of an eye….. one thing for sure, it is a place that is always one of change.
Unpredictable the weather may be…. but please always remember to..

Beautiful…love the transition from shore to sea…or is it, sea to shore
