Blue skies, lots of sunshine.. OK., a cool breeze, but still a great morning in the Derbyshire countryside. A real mix for the senses. Open countryside (with a hazy horizon), dark woodland, some Blossom lots of Bluebells, even Dandelions rivaling them for attention, peaceful Parkland and lots of spring song from the birds who were obviously enjoying the mornings sun….
and the perfect end to the mornings walk…. a Coffee in the Tea Room Garden.

Oh look at those beautiful bluebells! Spring here in BC is taking it’s jolly time too. We have moved to the houseboat but waking up to -4C in the morning is rather rude. The breeze is bone chilling off the lake. But we know it will warm up. Eventually.

Yep…. our nights are like a freezer. In theory the days should be about 17c but we have wind chill that takes the edge of it.
