Spring….. It is ever Changing

Just a few short weeks ago this woodland floor was covered in a carpet of brown courtesy of last autumns leaves. Then Spring worked just a little of its magic …. and out pop the Bluebells.

Sadley they are one of Springs short lived miracles.  As the new leaves on the surrounding trees start to exclude the light, the Bluebells will die back to where they came from, in hibernation till next year.  All that will be left is a carpet of decaying leaves.

So, for a few more days enjoy the carpet of Blue…  they always brighten a woodland walk
