Twixt summer and autumn…… the garden cannot make up its mind. It has also been a strange year. Regular reliable flowers have struggled whilst others have gone berserk. Others flowered earlier than usual, died back and had a second and sometimes third coming….. like the Dwarf Hosta above.
The Dahlia have struggled this year even though we still have some late colour. Rudbeckia have now fallen back and new season Fungi is hiding in the long grass. Overall, we still have some colourful hot spots….. and the best of autumn has yet to come. 🙂
Summer is coming to an end… but I bet it still has a few surprises in store….
