A Change in the weather….. but not permanent

Heavy rain overnight, very heavy!  I guess that is the best sort of rain…. as by dawn the rain vanished and the mist rose, then the sun came through for what turned out to be another warm day with above average temperatures.

The Silver Birch above, has over the past two days started to change colour, it won’t be long before they drop.

By the time we reached the Lake the day had well and truly broken and had all the makings of yet another fabulous late summer day.

The forecasters tell us more rain is due, and we do need it.  Looking at the charts it may well behave itself and fall overnight.

I do hope you are enjoying your late summer, or autumn if you are further forward than us…  but as always…
