Halfway through April and the trees are still bare, true their buds are swelling, but not yet keen to burst on to a weather pattern that is mixed and bordering on awful.
On the positive side we do have the Daffodils, now being followed by Blossom. Magnolia and of course Tulips
April showers bring forth May flowers we are told….. After all the March and April’s rains, we should by rights, have a real May extravagance.
Just to add to the floral tease…. the first of the seasons Bluebells, just a few but a start…
As with all matters connected with the weather, we will have to wait and see…..

Trees starting to bud here too and we had very warm temps (summer-like) for two days and now, it seems we are back to winter. Weird spring is all I can say.
