Loch Greshornish, Isle of Skye, Scotland
Here in the UK., at precisely 9.50pm. BST…. it is the Summer Solstice.
I thought the above image was appropriate to mark the event…. it was taken a few years ago, shortly before midnight on the Solstice. Thanks to Scotland’s northerly aspect, it often felt as if the day never went to sleep. On a clear Highland day, some nights barely went dark.
Time vanishes so quickly, well to me it does…… within several blinks of the eye, we have passed from celebrating the Winter Solstice to now the Summer Solstice. Best not mention next stop Christmas.
Lets all try to slow the pace of life…. and as always….
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

My wise father always told me the older you get, the faster time passes. It does ring true.
