Last Post for March… or should that be Swan Song ?

I know this is April 1st,  but on my travels yesterday I just had to make a brief stop…. why because the sun shone bright, the thermometer was climbing (would reach18c) and the canal at Willington look so inviting..

March was going out in style…  a real Spring day.  Making some time for a canal side walk seemed absolutely right in an otherwise busy day.

So join me today reflecting on  March’s swan song…

Despite the strong constant sunshine , the sky never really cleared… wispy clouds and con trails took the edge off the suns, warmth…. so the 18c was an achievement and certainly brought out the Blackthorn blossom.

Now lets hope April  can keep this trend going…. I think after our wet winter and a strange early Spring, I think we now deserve  a Spring treat.

As we keep our fingers crossed and hope… we should also…
