Spring has been rather spectacular this year. Maybe that is all about to change as the weather forecast, doesn’t just predict a change, but the possibility of a wave of severe weather.
With that very much in mind, it seemed prudent to take enjoy a Spring walk. We are lucky in having several ‘green’ Parks on our doorstep… just which one to choose. Darley Park won out. It is located in the an old Mill village, a one time self contained community, now a desirable place to live. The Park itself was donated to the City of Derby by the Mill Owners.
So join me in a mornings walk. Spring flowers, lots of Blossom, new green growth and lots of open spaces

The increasing cloud cover may be hearalding in that weather change… but at least we took advantage of the day and its sunshine…

Whatever the weather – whatever the future… always….

My poor spring flowers are getting a right battering today with heavy rain and wind! Not sure the tulips will survive the onslaught.

Despite the predictions, we are still dry….we do need some rain but not a deluge 🤣

Spring has certainly been different this year (well at least in our corner of middle England) You could say unpredictable and some unexpected colour mixes. Glad you enjoyed the walk.

Unpredictable an accurate descriptor, I would say

So very lovely. You are a lot farther along with Spring than we are here in my area.

Spring does look good..but it has been very strange. The very wet autumn and winter didnt help. Some plants/bulbs were very much earlier than norm, others traditionally first to show now just catching up….top that off with the last two weeks of the warmest and sunniest spring recorded. But rain is on the.way. I did chat with an old countryman…he said nature.always changed back and forth…but always manages to adapt
