‘Animal’ is the word selected by Debbie for her OWS Challenge. Being September and the approach of autumn, for me there could only be one animal…. a Red Deer Stag. Autumn is the Rutting Season for Red Deer, a time when the Stags use all their force and strength in pursuit of the Hinds…. it can be a noisy time in the woods.

Theres a wooded field of deer near me. I never see them. And I wouldn’t even know they were there if wasn’t for the noisy rutting season.
