
Yesterday, Sunday 24th March will go down in the diary, as the day we had Spring.
Fabulous sunshine from dawn till dusk. Despite its best efforts there was little warmth from the suns rays, even the woodlands retained a cold look.

No complaints though…. for after our bleak wet winter and early Spring, this Spring day did a great deal to lift our spirits.

Trees have yet to ‘green up’ but the hedgerows of Hawthorn and Blackthorn are leaping ahead giving a real spring like look to the meadows… all helped by cotton wool clouds dashing across the blue sky.

Now that was the Good News.…. today we are back to what now seems to be the norm, dark grey clouds dropping some rather heavy rain …. here we go again.
