Isle of Skye, Scotland
Skye, an island of dramatic landscapes and wild places. A place where the weather can change at the blink of an eye.
Here we have a view from high on the Quiraing Pass, located in the north east corner of Skye. Looking roughly north you get fabulous views of the rocky crags of ‘The Needle’ and ‘The Prison’. (image above)
Turn and look south and you are rewarded with views over the mountains of Cleat, Dun Bubh and Druim an Ruma
Wild and wonderful scenery that changes with each turn and every mile.
The Mountains will still be there to explore when all this turmoil is eventually over

I’ve been to Scotland and hoped for scenery like this, but my schedule didn’t permit it. Really must plan for another, much more dedicated visit!

To get the best of Scotland it has to be an extended trip…soo much to see, scenery from wild to tranquil, so many varied places of history and culture…..not a place to rush. A plan, which I always resist doing, is really necessary. 🙂
