St. Michaels Church, Derby.
Not a very old Derby church. True, it is located on an old religious Church site but St. Michaels was a complete rebuild. It was constructed between 1856 and 1858, … when it was opened.
It is though no longer a place of worship. There was a time when central Derby was littered with Churches of many denominations. Many have now long gone…. but some have been repurposed.
St. Michaels is now the home of a well-established Legal company.
There is a new sign by the door, but above the Sculpture (1914-18 War Memorial) remains…. another reminder to visitors of its original and subsequent purpose.
Sunday, a new week beckons….. so, if you can – Relax and also …
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

It does make me sad to see churches with no congregations any longer.
