If this is Winter…. then I can live with days like this

OK, it is cold. By midday, the thermometer has risen to a dizzy 0c. Mist had once again rolled in with the dawn and frost still lingered in shady areas…… but the sun shone, and the skies were blue.
January is nearly over and so far; it has delivered a rather kind month with amazingly colourful days for mid-winter…

New growth starting to show, and the Witch Hazel is at its best.

Forward forecast seems to indicate that January will continue in a similar vein….. so I wonder what February has in store for us. Will it be more of the same or will Winter take its vengeance?

  2. Definitely a different winter here too. But who knows what next month will bring? Sometimes we get huge snowfalls in February in my neck of the woods. As usual, I loved each and every one of your photos today.
