Nine Ladies Stone Circle, Stanton Moor, Derbyshire
The last day of February…. and quite a month it has been. Here in our part of the UK it has produced record high temperatures for a February, whilst being the driest on record.
It has been a month of mist, fog, blue skies and sunshine plus at times some cold winds.
To try and summaries (If this makes sense)….. At times it has been Spring, but not quite, at others it has been Winter without the extremes. At times, the countryside has looked more autumnal, the occasional frost soon vanished, whilst the sun on many days did manage to take away the February chill. That sun also provided some memorable sunsets.
Flavours of a Derbyshire February
February has certainly been a month that has allowed us to enjoy the outdoors.
It has also provided some teasers of the Spring yet to come…..
February has traditionally been a true Winter month….. and whilst not wishing time away, it is usually a month that we are glad to see the back of.
A new month ahead. None of us know what is in store for us, either weather wise or personally…… so as always….
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

Beautiful views and photographs dear David. Yes, February was same in here too, Spring, Winter, Autumn, even Summer touches we had in here… What kind of days…. By the way we are dealing with drought… for the farmers it’s giving alert… It rains but it is not a rain that brings blessings, it’s definitely not! How our home, Earth will get its nature back, not being sure… Anyway, Thank you, have a nice day, Love, nia

Thanks for your update…. it is so easy for any of us to only see our local picture, despite news from around the world telling very different stories.

We had a record breaking February here in my area too – least amount of snow on record. Highly unusual. By the way, each photo is lovely no matter what the weather may have been.
