A miserable end to October…

Whilst it is true that we have enjoyed some, well occasional, sunny days in October, overall it has been damp and soggy.

So I guess this image sums up the month, a wet day when we might get the odd flash of sunshine, to make the leaves glow….. but I certainly will not be pausing for a thoughtful moment on that bench today.

Lets hope November gives us some hope of better seasonal weather…. nor to pass too quickly, as Christmas beckons (you may groan now 🙂 )

To me it always seems that folks forget November and rush from Halloween to Christmas in one quick swoop. especially because of the commercialization. Not me, I savor the 11th month and being an American, I spend the month giving thanks for my blessings as we head into our national holiday of Thanksgiving Day.
