A welcome break in this long run of bad weather…. some sunshine to welcome the day and put a big smile on our faces.
In the woods a small sign that Spring is on the way. Daffodils are breaking through the remains of autumns leaves. Only a few at the moment but it will not be long before this woodland floor is a carpet of swaying daffodils.
As for that sunshine…well we are taking advantage of it. We better had as the forecast for the end of the week and into the weekend is for a return of even more rain and high winds, maybe even some wintery showers.
So smile whilst you can 🙂

The storm you mentioned yesterday never came! Nor did the 10 inches of snow they promised us yesterday, but a
rather chilly day it was with tempertures around zero all day long! No winter, but certainly no spring either! 🙂
But – there is always a ‘tomorrow’!

tomorrow could be much the same here. Cold overnight but 12c during the day

You definitely made me smile with these! No such signs here yet and I’m trying to be patient.

I’m smiling! It was as if the weather was trying to lure me out so it could drench me today – each time I noticed how blue the sky was, within a few minutes it had turned to sleet and hail.

Another storm is on its way this weekend: Storm Jorge, named by the Spanish weather service even though it is centred over Scotland 🙂

So Jorge it is then as the weekend visitor….is it me or is there just much more media hype since they started to name storms 🙂

It’s not just you! There definitely seems to be more media hype with anything to do with the weather these days 🙂
