A Damp Day….. #WalkingSquares

Wet November Leaves

Damp indeed today…. much more rain than shine with a backdrop of a milky sky…. well it is nearly the end of November.

It may well be dark and dismal, but November still provides some colour beneath our feet.

Nor were there many folk out and about…  it made for an enjoyable but lonely walk.. it also did provide an image for Becky’s #WalkingSquares challenge

It is now the turn of the Oak to show its autumn colours….  sadly, this venerable Oak has suffered damage. Damage not due to winds but as a result of the exceptional dry and hot spring, summer and early autumn. Large limbs lost and now can never be replaced…

Gales are threatened so may be this is just the start of a terminal decline.

If you are out and about, stay dry if you can…. but as always…

Please Remember ….

Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other
