Cold, bright sun and long shadows. True, we have had a light frost and with the clear blue sky it has made for a magical few day’s….. especially after the rains of November and the fog that welcomed in December.
Just last weekend our forecasters were predicting some horrendous winter weather. Certainly, Northern Scotland and its Islands have had their first taste of a real winter ….. But a week later we have been lucky, enjoying the gift of a few fantastic days.
I call this time of year the “Between Seasons”… hints of winter yet still shades of autumn.
As for the cold….. well Buster doesn’t seem to be that concerned, just so long as he is along for the walk he’s happy.
Whatever your weather I hope you can enjoy the coming weekend…. and as always…

Lovely and adorable Buster, I can imagine how happy to be outside… Beautiful photographs dear David, Winter is there at the end, when will it be in here still we are not sure. As they say this weekend it is expected that temperature to be 19° C… Thank you, have a nice weekend, Love, nia

Only way I thought described this time of year….. though last year, I would have put it two weeks earlier.
